Donation Refund Policy

Once a donation is made to Raushan Welfare Society, it is considered final and cannot be refunded or cancelled under normal circumstances. We do not entertain requests for refund or cancellation of donations after the payment has been processed, whether made online or offline.

We request all donors to carefully check the amount and details before making a donation. By proceeding with the payment, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

Exceptional Circumstances for Refunds

Refunds may be considered only in the following exceptional circumstances:

• Technical Error: If there was a technical error during the payment process that resulted in duplicate charges or incorrect amounts.
• Unauthorized Transaction: If the donation was made without the account holder's authorization (requires proper documentation and police complaint).
• System Malfunction: If our payment system malfunctioned and charged an incorrect amount.

Refund Process

If your case falls under the exceptional circumstances mentioned above:

1. Contact us within 7 days of the transaction date
2. Provide complete transaction details including receipt/confirmation number
3. Submit supporting documentation for your refund request
4. Our team will review your case within 10-15 business days
5. If approved, refunds will be processed within 20-30 business days to the original payment method

Data Retention

We seek to retain personal information only as needed to fulfil the purposes described in our privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law or regulations. Donor information is maintained for tax compliance and acknowledgment purposes.

80G Tax Certificates

Tax exemption certificates under Section 80G will be issued for all eligible donations. Once issued, these certificates cannot be cancelled or modified unless there was an error in the donation processing.

Other Disclosures

We may disclose donation information as required by law, when needed to protect our rights, privacy, safety, property, donors, or users and as necessary to enforce our terms of service. This includes compliance with income tax regulations and audit requirements.

We reserve the right to update this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
